Xmas

Xmas this year was so much fun with G!

He "got" the whole concept of what to do with the presents and it was exciting to see the look on his face when he woke up Xmas morning to see his gifts under the tree.

Snow!

Being snowed in hasn't been too bad. G and me snuggled and watched Xmas shows and I baked him chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

When I put him to bed tonight he said, "Mommy you are the coolest lady ever" haha I thought it was so funny!

Holy Crap

It always seems strange to decorate for Xmas before Thanksgiving to me but it's the world of retail!

CANDYPANTS

Sweetie put together a gingerbread house this weekend. I didn't realize how hard it was to get the roof to stay on. I needed a glue gun or Linda. Where is she when I need her? Anyway, frosting was everywhere! He is just like his Mommy.

Too bad so sad

My friend has an antique store next to mine and she's packing it in and closing up...another on my right is also closing. Still I remain but for how long? People are still not willing to shop downtown although with all damn condos one would think we would be beating them off with a stick.

I think we need a Walmart.

One cat and a monkey

Halloween night was great and G was so excited to be knocking on the doors of total stranger! Everything went smoothly until we got to one of the last houses...a large man had an M&M costume on and paired it with some kind of
grotesque Texas chainsaw massacre mask. Not a good combination.

A buttload of kittens

I guess I border on "crazy cat lady" I'm sure that my family would place me in that cat-agory...haha

I have lots of new kitty items for stocking stuffers!

Love of my life

I have a cat named Lulu and she is the love of my life. I found her on the side of the road when she was a tiny little baby and she has been with me ever since.

When Lulu was younger she had a lot of medical problems..cancer, a weird blood disease.

That was 14 years ago. She really doesn't like people except for me. She doesn't like the other cats in our household. Lulu has been know to slap and bite babies on the head but I think it's part of her charm. When I had a chance to open up a small shop downtown I knew right away I would call it Lulu. Sometimes I don't like people

either.
